The Bulldogs were the M.A.C. Champions for the fifth time in seven seasons
• 9-0 regular-season record was the ninth time the Dawgs finished regular season undefeated
• Extended winning streak from 20-straight wins to 30-games
• Bettendorf, for the first time since the 1970's as members of the MVC, loses to Iowa City High [in Quarterfinals]
• For the only the second time in BHS history, two players rushed for 1000+ yards (Paul Harnung & Ron McQuay)
• Eleven (11) Bettendorf players earned All-State honors... a record high
• Randy Scott named as "Assistant Coach of the Year" by the Iowa Football Coaches Association
• After the 1993 season, long-time assistant coach Dave Hodam leaves BHS to become an administrator at Moline HS
